Three Beautiful Vases

HKLiving Greek Vase B

As the seasons change from winter to spring, I find myself craving some updates to my surroundings, this time in the form of vases. I cannot deny I love anything Greek-inspired, and new renditions of old classics are definitely my aesthetic. While deep diving into flower vases on an afternoon search, I stumbled across this HK Living Greek vase, style b.

I ordered the vase immediately. I have to say, though, I succumbed to the same mistake twice on this day… that is, I did not check the scale of the vase. Compared to the others it was shown with, I thought it was smaller. And to be honest, it is a happy mistake. I think in general, bigger is often better with accessories.

And then

Though it was love at first site, online, I wasn’t so sure about the vase when it arrived. But I have to tell you, I love it now. Here are some reasons why you should consider purchasing this vase. Firstly, I love the ledge at the top of the vase. It really supports tulips nicely as they start to fade but still hold that allure that makes you hang on to them a few days longer. I love the scale for a dining table or kitchen island. I love the color, as you can pair it with numerous other white vases in your collection, on a table or bookshelf.

This next vase featured is from Serax. Again. I assumed this was much smaller than it actually is. And again, I am happily surprised. It can hold it’s own next to a big tv, particularly when filled with branches or leaves. I love the handmade, imperfect qualities of it. And again, the neutral color is perfect to compliment your other vases. I can picture it happily nested on a bookshelf with others of its kind.

Another Recent Purchase

Another recent vase purchase was this one from Colin King for Menu. I’ve read that one of his favorite materials to work with is brass, which is what this vase is composed of. It is very well made, and definitely adds that sculptural quality to a room. It is pricey, and therefore I only bought one, but I definitely think it looks better when paired with something similar, or the second vase. I am still working out how best to use this vase in my own home. Will keep you posted. The below photos are Menu’s photos available on Pinterest.
