These are two classic clothing pieces that will last for years and make great gifts. Both wool, both investment pieces but timeless in style; something every design lover is a fan of.
I love the Sesena Paloma Cape for dressy evenings out. I think there is nothing more elegant to top your evening wear than a cape. As for the skirt, my obsession with Molli Paris continues… I love their well made pieces in merino wool that are perfectly cut for casual or dressy occasions. I can picture this skirt with heels and a blazer just as easily as I can picture it with boots and a sweater.
Shoe Gift Ideas:
Somehow this is turning more into a post about clothing and wearables! I’ve had these Cole Haan brogues that I’ve worn for years, and I am in the market for a dressier pair, a sentiment only heightened by my recent trip to Scotland. Brogues and tweeds are where it’s at in Scotland. And I’m into that. They are equally at home with pants, joggers and dresses or skirts, which makes them an ideal shoe for traveling.
Scent Gift Idea:
Candles are always a win in my opinion, but this is an elegant version of scent that I am on board with. An incense holder by Luke Edward Hall for Ginori. I love both Ginori and Mr. Hall’s designs. He can’t do wrong, in my book.
