Gwyneth Paltrow’s homes: Last week Architectural Digest magazine gave us a look inside Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow’s home in Montecito, CA. She designed this house with architectural and design firm, Roman and Williams, who also completed several commercial projects for her Goop brand. The result is stunning:

I thought it would be interesting to look at GP’s previous properties. She lived in England with her first husband and many features and inspirations in this home, including the entry with the fireplace, came from living in the UK. You notice themes with kitchen layout, herringbone wood floors, the hanging daybed in her living room, and gorgeously executed finishes, like the hand painted wallpapers and fluted wall in the kitchen.

She also had a Tribeca apartment and other homes in California, most notable, a home designed by Windsor Smith.

Though the homes are in geographically different places with dramatically different climates, you can see how she collected her ideas over time and ended up putting all the pieces together into one amazing home.
